The Praforst forest with its pathways offers ideal conditions for richly varied walks to keep you fit and healthy. The suggested tours lead through the forest or alongside it with views over the landscape of the Hessische Kegelspiel, the Buchfinkenland and the Haune valley.

 With their paths, the Praforst woods offer ideal conditions for richly varied routes to preserve health and improve Fitness. The suggested tours lead through the woods or along the edge of the woods with views to the “Hessische Kegelspiel”, the “Buchfinkenland” and the Haune Valley.

To avoid unduly encumbering nature and the landscape, the signs were designed such that you always follow them straight ahead. You’ll find the next sign only where you need to take a turn, where paths fork or where several paths meet at one point.

The paths are each signed in one direction and were selected based on sports medicine aspects. The routes are of course also suitable for walkers and joggers.
