Savour the quality of life at the heart of Germany in Hünfeld in the Rhön Biosphere Reserve!
On a surface area of 0.8 hectares there are 18 parking spaces on pearl gravel under trees in the Landerneauallee. Services are available to visitors for water supply, drainage and waste disposal for chemical toilets and CCE power connections.
Close to the Haselsee recreation area with opportunities for walking, riding and pedal-boating, the park is ideally situated at the edge of the town. On foot through the Bürgerpark, visitors can reach the town centre with numerous offerings surrounding shopping, art and culture.
That includes not only shops, cafes and restaurants, but also the Local History Museum, affiliated with the Konrad Zuse-Museum and the Museum of Modern Art, as well as the Stadtpfarrkirche or the Bonifatiuskloster.
Another eye-catcher is the project “Offene Buch” with Concrete Art texts on numerous facades. Attractive excursions are also possible in the Praforst recreation area with a 9- and 18-hole golf course, as well as in the Hessische Kegelspiel and the High Rhön.
